What you need:

What you do:

  1. rosspencan.gif (8459 bytes)Cut a strip of construction paper to fit around the can to cover it. Tape the paper in place around the can.
  2. Tie a pretty ribbon around the top of the can.
  3. Cut several 1-inch circles from different color papers.  Put a piece of sticky-back magnet on each one.
  4. Write something you would like to be able to do on each circle.  Stick the circles with things you would like to accomplish around the outside of the can.  Once you have accomplished something, move the circle into the inside of the can, and make a circle for something new you would like to achieve.

Keep accomplishment can on your desk for your pencils and pens.  It will serve as a reminder to work hard at being the person that God wants you to be.

    To accompany this activity:
Perseverance is when you keep trying, even when something is difficult.---
